I have seen it in many places, in many books, in many films, in many plays that the subjunctive mood is being used in all sorts of situations where it should not be. It is being used when it should not be used. It is being used in the wrong place. It is being misused.

The subjunctive mood has one job to do and it has only one place to be placed. It has no other purpose than to create mood, to set the tone.
